Adolescent dogs (those dogs in the 8 months to 1.5/2 years depending on breed and individuals) can be a LOT! All of a sudden, their brain turns off and they seem to have forgotten everything you taught them.

 

That's where adolescent training comes in!

When you book for adolescent training, our trainers know that the dog they are dealing with has an extensive puppy history that is influencing their current actions in a confusing way. Developing hormones and excitement also play an important role in adolescent dog behaviors. Our trainers can take that information, observe the behavior of your dog, and develop a plan to help your dog follow the boundaries and rules and tricks that they already know!

Adolescent dogs can be frustrating, but know that it is a temporary stage and, with enough consistency and patience, your well trained puppy will come back as they gain their maturity!
