They might say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but our experience says otherwise!

This training is best for our pups that might be late additions to the family and are already past that adolescent and puppy stage. They might need the skills taught in puppy classes, but without the emphasis on socialization and other puppy-specific skills. Or, perhaps training has lapsed as life got busy and time moved on! This training option can be a good fit for dogs that need to get back to their basics in a mature dog's mind!

Mature dogs can learn plenty, but having to ask for "puppy training not for a puppy" can be frustrating. With our experience with shelter dogs, these dogs are just as worthy of learning self-control, basic obedience, and some fun basic tricks.
